Unsane will be in theaters March 23. Here’s the synopsis: “A young woman is involuntarily committed to a mental institution where she is confronted by her greatest fear–but is it real or is it a product of her delusion?”

Steven Soderbergh directs Claire Foy, Aimee Mullins, Amy Irving, and Joshua Leonard in this horror/thriller. Just watching the trailer is enough to make me freak. It’s Steven Soderbergh’s first horror movie. Unsane was shot entirely with an iPhone camera.

Hereditary

Gabriel Byrne, Toni Collette, Alex Wolff, and Milly Shapiro in Hereditary

Hereditary stars Toni Collette and Gabriel Byrne. Also featured are Alex Wolff, Milly Shapiro, and Ann Dowd.

This scary look into heredity gone to hell is written and directed by Ari Aster. Here’s the synopsis: “When Ellen, the matriarch of the Graham family, passes away, her daughter’s family begins to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry. The more they discover, the more they find themselves trying to outrun the sinister fate they seem to have inherited.”

At just over two hours long, this horror mystery should wring you out completely. It will be released in June 2018.
