Wow, things are looking tense at Litchfield Prison for season 4 of Orange is the New Black. A hundred new women, some new correctional officers, things are changing and it doesn’t look like it’s for the better.
The worst part, the most socially relevant part, is that Litchfield is transitioning to a for-profit prison. For-profit prisons are a cancer on the American soul, and I think we’re going to see evidence of that in season 4 of Orange is the New Black.
The description of the new season promises an unprecedented culture war. We see glimpses of that in the trailer.
Who needs Pornstache when you’ve got the extremely large Desi Piscatella (Brad William Henke) looming over you? The noise level alone seems to be enough to drive anyone insane. People are mad as hell all over the place.
I am looking forward to the full context of the conversation between Poussey (Samira Wiley) and Judy King (Blair Brown). Let’s face it, even in prison, #eldersrock.
Are you a fan of this series from Netflix? What do you think about season 4?
