The Lincoln Lawyer you probably saw with Matthew McConaughey back in the day featured the same main character as this TV series version. Both are based on novels by Michael Connelly, who worked on the series as well. This time Mickey Haller is played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.
Goliath, season 2, is a full on murder mystery with Billy Bob Thornton playing the semi-drunken investigator/lawyer with a heart of gold who tries to spring an innocent kid from jail.
Kenneth Branagh brings us a new adaptation of Agatha Christie’s classic Hercule Poirot mystery Murder on the Orient Express. The film is star-studded to the max. Every character is played by someone outstanding.
