The Suicide Squad, explosive fun

The Suicide Squad has been reviewed everywhere as a brilliant, bloody, action extravaganza. It was the “bloody” part that made me almost not watch it. It was the Margot Robbie part that made me watch it. I actually loved it and I love that you can see it on HBO Max without any extra charge beyond your subscription. There are a few spoilers ahead.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is a 2016 Tina Fey starrer about a journalist in Afghanistan. It is based on a book by Kim Barker, “The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan.” The premise should guarantee an interesting journey into an unknown land.
