Lost Girl: New Promo for the last of season 5

Showcase released a promo called “The End Begins” for the last half of Lost Girl season 5. The show begins on Canadian TV on September 6. It probably won’t show up on SyFy in the US for some time after that.

What can we learn from the promo? We know Bo is as kick ass as ever. In shades.

Kris Holden-Ried and Eric Roberts

We do know that Bo isn’t through with her father just yet.

Ksenia Solo in Lost Girl

We do know our favorite sidekick will return, at least for a bit.

Some of the promo is recycled from the beginning of season 5, so no news there. I think the reference to happy endings is meant to mislead us. What do you see in this promo that I’m missing?

Watch This: Orange is the New Black, season 3 preview

June 12 is almost here, and the Orange is the New Black media machine is gearing up accordingly. Here’s a new preview for season 3.

Last week I was in Texas for my granddaughter’s high school graduation. Afterwards, my family and another family with my granddaughter’s BFF all went out to dinner.

We two families have known each other since the girls were in day care. We’ve been friends ever since. We don’t share the same taste in cars, movies, or anything else. Except for Orange is the New Black. In mid-meal, the other girl’s dad, who is a deputy sheriff, said, “I can hardly wait for season 3 of Orange is the New Black!” Both the 18 year old girls chimed in and said, “Yeah, I love that show.” My own daughter, who doesn’t like any of the same shows I like, even said she liked OITNB.

Really, the earth stopped that day in a Texas Mexican food joint as I took in the momentous occasion of actually knowing real human beings who love a show I love. (Not that people who read this blog aren’t real. But I don’t actually know any of you.)

OMG, people! OITNB is almost here!

Two New Promos for Season 3 of Orphan Black – UPDATED

Orphan Black is releasing new promos to entice us to want season 3 to hurry up. It’s working! Hurry up, season 3! The nearest I could come to a release date is Spring 2015.

Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy) is a total badass. We know that. Here’s proof.

Also, Alison does NOT have a potty mouth. Even when she’s stoned and drunk. Even when she’s a total badass. Much to her surprise, Alison is often a total badass.

Love the  humor in this video about Alison. I hope they produce similarly clever ones for all of Tatiana Maslany’s many incarnations before season 3 begins.

I would happily watch videos like these about Felix (Jordan Gavaris), Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) and Kira (Skyler Wexler), too.

Update!

Just hours after this post published this morning, a new promo for season 3 became available. It includes one of the male clones we learned about at the end of season two.

Start date on BBC America is April 18. We have a date, CloneClubbers!

Guest star announcements!

New cast members include Ksenia Solo, Justin Chatwin, James Frain

In case you somehow missed this announcement: Ksenia Solo will be part of season 3 of Orphan Black. There might also be a couple of guys, too. I don’t know, maybe Justin Chatwin and James Frain, whoever they are.

The one. The only. My fave Super Star. #CloneClub .@tatianamaslany #TheFunBegins #OrphanBlack

Watch This: Preview for Bomb Girls Facing the Enemy

The preview for the upcoming Bomb Girls: Facing the Enemy that will appear on Canadian Global TV is available now.

I loved the series about women working in a Canadian munitions factory during World War II and am happy about the movie. Not sure when Americans will be able to see it, but I can’t wait.

I reviewed the Bomb Girls story in more depth in this post. It describes the characters and more about the story.
