The Hollywood Reporter revealed two big news flashes about Ryan Murphy’s latest project Pose, which will air on FX, if it goes to series. I hope many, many people will watch for the pilot season on FX and punch in some high view numbers for Pose. Let’s make it happen!

The history-making transgender actors are MJ Rodriguez, Indya Moore, Dominique Jackson, Hailie Sahar, and Angelica Ross. Angelica Ross is pictured up top in Her Story. Each of them will be playing transgender characters.
This wonderful news was very long in coming. Five transgender actors in regular series roles – earth shattering.
I know it’s progress, so I shouldn’t complain, but won’t it be great when transgender actors are just actors? And the characters they play are just characters.
A couple of days later there was even more good news about Pose.

Evan Peters, Kate Mara, James Van Der Beek and Tatiana Maslany have been added to the cast of Pose. This is exciting news for Orphan Black fans – namely me.
Maslany will play a modern dance teacher (Tat will dance!) who takes an interest in the talent of Damon (Ryan Jamaal Swain).
Fingers crossed that this series is picked up by FX.
