New episodes of The X-Files are back after the holiday break. How are things going in the world of Gillian Anderson and the show she’s been on forever that isn’t nearly as good as The Fall?
Mulder and Scully (David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson) are back for an 11th season of The X-Files. There have been two episodes so far. The first episode had Scully in a hospital bed most of the time – b.o.r.i.n.g. But the second episode was more action packed and kick ass. I think you could rightly conclude that I watch The X-Files. for one reason only, and it isn’t the plot.

Gillian and Kate are working together in The Spy Who Dumped Me. Kate must be ecstatic. It looks like Mila Kunis might be the actual star of The Spy Who Dumped Me. Triple threat, those ladies. We will see them in August.
But back to The X-Files, Gillian Anderson has the last word. She announced this season is it for her: Gillian Anderson On Why This Season Of ‘The X-Files’ Is Her Swan Song: ‘I’m Finished.’ I’d say being finished with The X-Files, as beloved as they are, can only lead to bigger and better things. Why not kick some ass with Pam Grier?
