Agent Carter looks wonderful on our TV screens, recreating the years just after WW II with brilliant thrills and excitement. Now they’ve released a fascinating video showing how it’s done.
Here’s the description of the video: “The Visual Effects Society has honored the effects wizards behind Season 1 of Marvel’s Agent Carter with a nomination in the 14th Annual VES Awards, and in honor of that we’re bringing you a special behind-the-scenes look at the incredible work they did to bring 1940s New York to life!”
Congratulations to the visual effects team from Agent Carter on the well-deserved nomination.
Watching the video makes you appreciate the skill of the visual effects people. It also makes you realize the skill of the actors. Actors are often called upon to create something that feels real out of nothing but imagination. Once the actors work is done, the visual effects team steps in and creates the reality that the actors pretended was there.
I’m a big fan of this show and actress Hayley Atwell as Peggy Carter. Her attitude, her bravery, her intelligence, her heart – she’s awesome. Here’s a look at how much the VE crew behind her contributes to that awesomeness.
