The Hunt, it’s a horror show
The Hunt is a Blumhouse production, which means horror. Horror isn’t my main thing, so this was my first look at a Blumhouse movie. The stars Betty Gilpin and Hilary Swank drew me in. It was gory and gross, but also hilarious.

Senior Year review, it’s back to school time
Senior Year stars Rebel Wilson in a comedy as a woman who has been in a coma for 20 years. The comedy arises because when she wakes up she’s still operating in her 17 year old brain as a high school girl who wanted to be prom queen.

The Noel Diary, a holiday romcom
The Noel Diary is set around the holidays. It’s a sweet romcom story about two lonely people who bond over parenting issues. It’s on Netflix but would fit in with the massive collections of holiday movies at Hallmark or Lifetime.

Review: This is Us, Season 1
This is Us season 1 can be seen on Hulu. Season 2 just began on NBC. It’s an excellent series, well worth watching. I didn’t watch season 1 live because of the way it was described and promoted. But I saw and heard so many enthusiastic comments about it, I recently caught up on Hulu.…
