My Leave No Trace post at #DirectedbyWomen

Ben Foster and Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie in Leave No Trace

#DirectedbyWomen has another ambitious project going. It’s Crucial 21st Century Cinema or #Crucial21DbW. The project’s creator Barbara Ann O’Leary wants to publish a guest blogger’s post about a film directed by a woman every day in 2019.

I volunteered myself for this project and got my post in at the beginning of the new year. I wrote about Leave No Trace, directed by Debra Granik. I hope you’ll give it a read. It was actually quite a writing challenge for me. I had to follow someone else’s standards and keep it under 350 words. Let me know what you think.

Also, check out the #DirectedbyWomen site each day for a new article about a film directed by a woman. This is a great project and it needs your support. If you write about film yourself, why not join in the fun? Contact @DirectedbyWomen to get started.
