I’ve always used purple on my blog in honor of Eric Meyers’ daughter Rebecca, who died at age 6. Nobody knew that but me, but I’m aware of it each time I open my blog.
But today, the color purple represents Spirit Day, a day GLAAD created to show support for LGBTQ youth. On this day, I want to share my love and respect for LGBTQ youth. Nobody deserves to be bullied.
Happy #SpiritDay! Tweet us your photos and show us your purple outfits. How are you showing your support for LGBTQ youth? 💜💜 pic.twitter.com/4xisslERQY
