Rita Gets a 4th Season – UPDATED

First it was on Facebook, which eagle eyed reader Christopher Swaby pointed out. Then Mille Dinesen put it on Instagram. Rita will get a 4th season!

Congratulations to Rita creator Christian Torpe, and to Mille Dinesen and all the cast. And thank you to Netflix for realizing that this show still has a huge audience.

I don’t know if it’s filming already, when it starts airing in Denmark, or when it will reach Netflix, but if I hear anything I’ll let you know. I’m excited about this wonderful news. Rita is a great show and a great character.

    From what was posted on Facebook, it seems that all anyone with the show is wiling/able to say at the moment is that a fourth season is confirmed. No filming or broadcast dates appear to have been set.

      Creator Christian Torpe must have deleted his Twitter account. I wanted to reach out to him for more info but he’s disappeared. It’s tough using Google translate to make sense of Danish news, but I’m hoping to see something there.

    I’m rewatching Season 1 – 3 and cannot wait until Season 4. When is the USA release? This is one of the best shows I’ve seen this decade. Fantastic writing and super talented actors. I’m so very thrilled!!
