Review: The Adam Project – love the actors? Okay, then.

The Adam Project is the kind of movie a lot of people will watch because they like the actors. That’s the best reason to watch this lightweight time travel tale. It’s easy and full of barbed one-liners, but south of outstanding.

Review: Free Guy, pure fun

Free Guy was pure fun, an escapist delight. I actually wanted to see it because of Jodie Comer, but before it was over I was delighted by everyone in the cast. The film is in theaters now, but you can rent or buy it on YouTube, which is how I saw it. (Apple TV+ also has it.)

Review: Woman in Gold

Woman in Gold is getting mixed reviews. Once again I am going to disagree with the critics and Rotten Tomatoes users. I completely enjoyed this film. Even though I knew from the start how it would turn out, I was enthralled by the events and the telling. There was tension and excitement around all of it. When it was over, I felt emotionally wrung out.
