Back when Amazon asked its Prime members to vote on new series, I gave Good Girls Revolt high marks. Since then it’s made it to the series stage. The first trailer just released.
The synopsis is, “Inspired by real events, Good Girls Revolt follows a group of young female researchers in 1969 at “News of the Week,” as they embark on their revolution journey for equality in the workplace. One small step, becomes one big movement that sparks change and upends marriages, careers, sex lives, love lives, and friendships.”
Good Girls Revolt stars Anna Camp, Grace Gummer, Chris Diamantopoulos, Genevieve Angelson, Hunter Parrish, Jim Belushi, Joy Bryant, Leah Cohen, Erin Cantelo and numerous others in this early feminist drama.
The series will be available on Amazon on October 28. It should be an inspiring history lesson in the movement for equality for women.

We can’t talk enough about the historical underpinnings of the feminist movement. I worry that young women don’t have a clue about what it took to secure the benefits they enjoy so freely today. We need more series like this!
I agree.
