Shrill, the final season, doesn’t feel like the end
Shrill, the Hulu series created by Aidy Bryant, Alexandra Rushfield, and Lindy West, doesn’t feel like it was meant to end when it did. The final scenes left us with more growth needed. Nevertheless, there was progress made in season 3 that made it a very satisfactory season.

Keeping Faith (S3, E1-5) where secrets are spilled – UPDATED
Keeping Faith is back with its 3rd and final season. It’s on Acorn TV in the U.S. The season begins with two episodes on April 12. Following that, new episodes will appear on Mondays through May 10. After May 10 and the last episode aired, I updated the end of this post.

Review: High Seas (Alta Mar), season 3
High Seas (Alta Mar), season 3, was shortened to 6 episodes – probably because of the coronavirus. Which is ironic because the plot of the season involved the search for a person carrying a deadly virus aboard the ship. This Spanish language drama is streaming on Netflix.

Marcella went undercover in season 3, which takes place 18 months after the end of season 2. Everyone in her life – her family and her former coworkers – think she’s dead.

Review: Ackley Bridge, season 3
Ackley Bridge, season 3, is streaming on Acorn TV for US viewers. This British series is about a racially diverse school in West Yorkshire. Season 3 dealt with some heavy, heartbreaking topics.

Review: Anne with an E, season 3
The final season of Anne with an E is now available on Netflix. Anne turns 16, finishes up her last year in her small school, and goes away to college. She learns more about herself and finally notices boys.

In season 3 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) is on tour as the opening act for famous singer Shy Baldwin (Leroy McClain). She’s traveling with her manager Susie (Alex Borstein). Things are going great! Beware, there are some season 3 spoilers ahead.

Review: The Crown, season 3
The Crown, season 3, has an all new cast but the same royal family we enjoyed getting to know in previous seasons. The switch to older actors in the royal roles is hardly an awareness blip as the new cast takes over with brilliant work all round.
