The Marvels review: total fun from beginning to end
The Marvels was simply a treat and great fun. From the opening credits to the last second. Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) uttered the final line, “Oh, shit,” which in Marvel-speak is a way to let you know that more is coming in the future to resolve the pickle Monica found herself in.

Short Takes on First Episodes
New series starting recently include This is Going to Hurt, Dark Winds, and Ms. Marvel. We’ve only seen one or two episodes of these new series so far, so I’m just going to share some initial impressions and ideas about them. They all seem promising to me.
