I finally got around to watching The Report on Prime Video on the day we all waited for results from the Iowa caucuses, the day of the SOTU address, and the day before the Senate’s final vote on the President’s impeachment trial. It was a good day to watch this film and be reminded that it may take a while, but we usually do the right thing.

Set for a December 25 release, 20th Century Women stars Annette Bening, Elle Fanning, Greta Gerwig, and Billy Crudup in a story set in 1979. Jimmy Carter is on the TV talking about a “crisis of confidence” – he was sure right about that one – and a group of women team up to raise a troubled teen (Lucas Jade Zumann). Review: Girl Most Likely

Do you know how long it takes while thumbing through lists of available movies on Netflix or Amazon Prime to find one with a woman in the lead role? Almost forever! After feeling that a movie poster with a woman on the front would never appear in the list, I found Girl Most Likely. I have never been so happy to see the words Kristen Wiig in my life!
