GLOW begins June 23 on Netflix. Before we talk about stars, take a look a who’s making this comedy.
GLOW is executive produced by Liz Flahive (Homeland, Nurse Jackie), Carly Mensch (Orange is the New Black, Nurse Jackie), Jenji Kohan (Orange is the New Black, Weeds) and Tara Herrmann (Orange is the New Black). Nurse Jackie ended in 2015 after 7 seasons. This half-hour show on Showtime was widely considered on of the best shows on television, and for good reason. At a half hour, it may have been considered a comedy. In my mind, it was a serious drama with a bit of comedy included.
